The following source list was originally available only on paper in one of the West Yorkshire Archive Service offices. It may have been compiled many years ago and could be out of date. It was designed to act as a signpost to records of interest on a particular historical subject, but may relate only to one West Yorkshire district, or be an incomplete list of sources available. Assessment and Qualifications Alliance (AQA)
To trace details of your past examination results you will need to know which examination body your exams were taken through.
This has been simplified by the creation of the Assessment and Qualifications Alliance (AQA) in 2000.
AQA hold records for the following examination bodies before 2000;
Joint Matriculation Board (JMB), Northern Examinations Assessment Board (NEAB) and Northern Examining Association (NEA)
Associated Examining Board (AEB) and Southern Examining Group (SEG)
From 2000 onwards exam results for AQA are split by region between AQA Manchester and AQA Guildford. The exam results for Yorkshire are held at AQA Manchester.
Further information relating to AQA can be found on the AQA website.
